Pricing For Hospitals
Hospitals will be charged on a case by case basis utilising two business models.
Outright purchase
The purchase of a system outright will be based on the configuration required and the units to be supplied our current price list can be found in the appendices..
Cost Savings Model
Hospitals are reluctant to spend capital on non medical services eg if it is a choice between a new MRI or a bedside clinical information system the decision would probably be made on the side of the MRI.
Hospitals are also under enormous pressure to reduce expenses while improving productivity.
Our cost saving model is based on conducting a cost analysis on the hospitals current systems and then getting buy in on what their new cost will be post implementation of the bedside terminal system. HMS would then charge 50% of the savings on an ongoing basis.
Example.
Meal Ordering
The cost for the hospital for meal ordering is $3.75 per day including staff resources etc.
Wastage of food that is being discarded is $2.50 per day per bed.
Post implementation HMS reduces the cost to $1.75 per day for ordering and reduces wastage to $1.50 per day thus saving the hospital $3.00 per day. HMS charges the hospital $1.50 per bed per day.
Based on a hospital of say 300 beds that represents $164,250
